FEATI University gives awards under the Recruitment and Retention Program

In recognition of the concerted efforts of the students, faculty and staff of the Departments of Electrical Engineering, Geodetic Engineering, Marine Engineering and Marine Transportation, FEATI University Administration is pleased to announce its grant of incentives and bonuses to said departments for having qualified under the Recruitment & Retention Incentives Program during the 2nd semester SY 2008-2009 and the 1st semester 2009-2010. These departments have managed to attain the targeted semestral new student recruits set for them and/or were able to attain or exceed a pre-set student population for the given periods, as well.

Per the Recruitment and Retention Incentives Program, incentives will be based on the gross pay of each faculty or administrative staff for the entire semester in which the targets were met. Likewise, all students of the departments of BSGE, BSMT and BSMArE enrolled in the semester when the pre-set student population targets were attained are granted a 20% discount on tuition fees in the succeeding semester.

The University would like to thank and congratulate the above-stated departments’ faculty and staff, and their respective students for exceeding expectations and helping boost the Recruitment and Retention Program’s progress.

Notwithstanding these achievements and successes, everyone is encouraged to continue to strive for the attainment of their Department/Program recruitment and retention targets in the coming semesters. In this regard, the Administration is reminding everybody, as well, that individual efforts at recruitment are similarly rewarded under the FEATI Enrollment Referral Program (FERP) which offers individual cash rewards to students, faculty and staff who are verified to have personally recruited new students into the University.
